From Crunching Numbers to Crushing Workouts

With over 20 years of financial career service, in 2022 I took the plunge and founded Titanium High Performance-THP.

The corporate world has been rewarding, but my passion has always been in pushing the limits on myself physically: challenges in the gym, setting goals, and going through the mental clarity that training brings.

It was the lockdown that really brought home to me the strength of movement. Gyms closed, routines went out the window, and then the blow hit—and not just in my body, in my mind too. The gym had been my anchor; it was where I could de-stress and refocus. Its absence made work more weighted and staying on track with my fitness goals tough as ever.

With my wife and daughter encouraging me, I signed up for a Level 3 Personal Training course-not quite knowing where it was going but wanting to delve deeper into the science of training, nutrition, and performance. Studying later in life was a challenge; I soon found the hands-on experience and deep dive into how the body moves and thrives really made it all worth it.

Taking the plunge to make this my full-time career was nerve-wracking, but it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. Two years on, I’ve had the privilege of coaching incredible clients, hearing their stories, and helping them build confidence, strength, and resilience.
